Still

It is now March 4th and we are still in a deep freeze. The weather man tells us that will change soon. We still have good sized snow banks and ice. Daylight savings time is coming upon us and spring is just around the corner. How I hope for an early and nice spring. As for the goose, she is still here. At night she goes to the creek and during the day she sits in my back yard calling. She now has a name. I decided to call her Lucy. It seems to fit. I have been feeding her bread but plan to pick up some cracked corn today. I figure if she is going to hang around I won't let her go hungry. I've been thinking that maybe a pond in my back yard wouldn't be a bad thing. We'll see if she hangs around. Till next time.
